Little Prince's Charge Damage jumped 25% in the August 26 2026 balance patch — 256 to 320 — making his Guardienne charge attack meaningfully harder to trade into for free. Everything else about the card is unchanged.

Figures below use Level 11, Clash Royale's tournament standard, regardless of the level selected above.
Little Prince is a cheap Champion who fights at range with a rapier that gets faster the longer he keeps swinging — starting at a slow 1.2-second pace and ramping up to a rapid 0.4-second flurry against anything that stays in front of him. Unusually for such a fast attacker, he can hit air troops as well as ground. His Royal Rescue ability spends another 3 Elixir to dash forward and call in Guardienne, a tough ground-only bodyguard who barrels in with a heavy opening hit before sticking around as a permanent ally. A major August 2026 update changed how that ability behaves: it now fires only once per Little Prince you place instead of recharging on a cooldown, though Guardienne now hits harder than before and Little Prince holds onto his ramped-up attack speed a little longer when he's on the move or switching targets.
Little Prince is a 3-Elixir Champion troop that unlocks in the Silent Sanctuary arena, and has been in the game since November 6, 2023. Like every Champion, a deck can only include one Champion card total.
At level 11 Little Prince has 698 hitpoints and attacks at range (5.5 tiles) with a rapier that can hit both air and ground troops for 104 damage a hit. He builds up a genuine three-stage combo the longer he keeps attacking: his swing interval drops from 1.2 seconds to 0.6 seconds to 0.4 seconds, taking his damage output from about 86, to 173, up to a peak of 260 damage per second.
Royal Rescue, Little Prince's special ability, costs another 3 Elixir on top of his 3-Elixir deploy cost -- getting full value out of him is really a 6-Elixir play. Activating it makes him dash up to 4 tiles and summon his bodyguard, Guardienne, after a roughly 0.9-second cast. As of an August 2026 rework, Royal Rescue -- like almost every Hero and Champion ability except Boss Bandit's -- can only be triggered once per deployment, rather than being reusable every 30 seconds the way it used to be.
Guardienne is a hulking, 1,600-hitpoint melee bodyguard who can only fight ground troops, not air. She charges in dealing bonus damage and knocking back what she hits, then sticks around fighting as a normal ally until she's killed -- she isn't a temporary summon.
An August 2026 balance update buffed Guardienne's hit damage from 217 to 232 (about +7%, roughly 193 damage per second at her 1.2-second hit speed), landing in the same patch that took away Royal Rescue's repeatable cooldown.
The same update gave Little Prince 'Hit Speed Conservation': he now keeps whatever ramped-up attack speed he's built up for up to 0.3 seconds after moving or switching targets, instead of instantly falling back to his slow first-stage swing the moment he's interrupted.
Little Prince launched in late 2023 as a dominant tank-and-DPS duo with Guardienne and drew a heavy round of nerfs through 2024 -- including a range cut (from 6 tiles down to the current 5.5) plus reductions to Guardienne's hitpoints, Guardienne's damage, and Royal Rescue's own damage. Since then he's received a steady string of smaller buffs through 2025 and into 2026, including the August 2026 Guardienne damage increase.
On offense, quick interrupt spells or troops like Zap, The Log, or Electro Wizard can punish Little Prince mid-cast and stop Guardienne from ever landing. On defense, Guardienne's high-HP, ground-only charge is well suited to blowing up swarms and squishy support troops like Witch, Executioner, or Wizard when they're tucked behind a tank.
