Suspicious Bush is a sneaky 2-Elixir Rare troop unlocked in the Rascal's Hideout arena. Instead of fighting on its own, it disguises itself as an ordinary bush and creeps toward the opponent's nearest building, completely invisible and untargetable the whole way there. Whether it reaches its target or gets spotted and destroyed first, the bush always leaves behind two Bush Goblins to fight in its place. Recent balance updates have made the ambush a bit more dangerous — the goblins now hit harder for longer thanks to an August 2026 hitpoints buff, and the bush itself travels farther before revealing its target after an April 2026 range change.
Suspicious Bush is a 2-Elixir Rare troop that unlocks in the Rascal's Hideout arena, and it's been part of the game since it launched on July 30, 2024.
When played, it deploys as a completely invisible bush that creeps toward the nearest enemy building — opposing troops can't target or attack it while it's disguised, similar to how the Royal Ghost turns invisible mid-fight.
The bush itself is very fragile, with only 81 hitpoints at tournament standard (level 11), so a single well-timed spell is usually enough to pop it before it reaches a tower.
Whether it reaches a building or gets destroyed first, the bush always spawns two separate Bush Goblins at that spot — not one goblin dealing double damage, but two independent melee attackers.
Each Bush Goblin hits for 256 damage every 1.4 seconds — about 182 damage per second — and, per an August 2026 balance update, now carries 337 hitpoints at tournament standard, up from 304 before that patch.
An April 2026 balance change extended the bush's own travel range from Short to Long, aimed at making it less likely to get shoved off a Crown Tower or have its goblins pushed straight onto one before they can fight.
Because the goblins spawn wherever the bush dies, defenders often try to snipe or lure the bush away from the Crown Tower with a spell or a defensive building rather than let it walk in for a free ambush.
Supercell built a dedicated "What's in the Bush" challenge around the card after its release, leaning into its surprise-goblin gimmick as the event's hook.
