Tower Princess is a Common-rarity Tower Troop and the very first one every Clash Royale player owns. When Tower Troops were introduced in December 2023, every player's existing Princess Tower was automatically converted into this card at the same level as their King Tower, so there's nothing to unlock. She rides on top of your Crown Towers in a dedicated troop slot separate from your normal 8-card deck, and stays hidden from your opponent until the match begins. On defense, Tower Princess is built for long-range, single-target sniping: she can hit both air and ground threats from a long 7.5-tile range, firing one arrow at a steady 0.8-second pace. At level 11 she deals 109 damage per hit (136 damage per second) and has 3,052 hitpoints, giving her enough range and staying power to start whittling down pushes well before they reach the tower. Supercell has explicitly balanced at least one other Tower Troop so it doesn't step on her defensive role, reinforcing that Tower Princess is meant to be the game's steady, reliable defensive option.
At level 11, Tower Princess has 3,052 hitpoints and deals 109 damage per hit, firing once every 0.8 seconds for 136 damage per second.
Tower Princess can target both air and ground troops from 7.5 tiles away, and hits a single target rather than dealing splash damage to a group.
Tower Princess was introduced on 13 December 2023 as Clash Royale's first Tower Troop card, a new card type that lives on top of a player's Crown Towers instead of in the normal deck.
Every player automatically has Tower Princess from the start — she doesn't need to be unlocked by reaching a higher Arena the way most cards do.
Tower Troops occupy their own dedicated slot outside a player's normal 8-card deck and are kept hidden from the opponent until the battle starts.
In a February 2025 balance update, Supercell explicitly cited Tower Princess as the defensive benchmark for the Tower Troop lineup, raising Royal Chef's hit speed specifically so his defensive strength wouldn't overlap with hers.
Tower Princess's stats have remained unchanged since her December 2023 introduction — no balance update has touched her as of mid-2026.
Tower Princess is widely regarded among the four available Tower Troops (alongside Dagger Duchess, Cannoneer, and Royal Chef) as the most consistently reliable choice for defense, thanks to her long range and dual air/ground targeting.
