What are the best Ladder decks in Clash Royale right now?

Currently leading the Ladder deck rankings in the last 14 days is Hog Cycle 70.0% across 30 observed deck appearances, on a sample small enough that it should be read as a front-runner rather than a settled answer.

No Ladder deck in this view has yet been observed enough times to call it settled. For the decks with the most battles behind them, see the most-played Ladder decks.

CrownStats ranked Ladder decks from 5,366 deck-observable tracked battles in the last 14 days, covering 13 decks with a large enough sample to rank. Ordering uses a confidence-adjusted score rather than raw win rate, so sample size counts against an untested deck — though it does not rule one out entirely, which is why sample sizes are shown throughout.

Latest Ladder battle observed10 Sept 2026
Statistics recalculated1h ago
Data sourceOfficial Clash Royale API

Battles are collected several times a day and these figures recalculated after each collection, so they are refreshed throughout the day rather than streamed live. Both dates are shown because they can differ: a format nobody has played this week stays honestly stale even when the calculation ran minutes ago.

Ladder deck questions

Which Ladder deck should I use?

Start from the top of the list above — it is ordered so the decks with the strongest evidence behind them come first. If you already own and know a deck further down, the honest answer is usually to keep playing it: the gap between adjacent decks here is often smaller than the gap between knowing a deck and not.

How does Ladder differ from other Battle Types?

Every figure on this page comes only from battles CrownStats classified as Ladder. Nothing is averaged in from Ranked, 2v2 or any other format, which is why the same deck can sit near the top here and mid-table elsewhere. Compare them from the Battle Types directory.

How fresh are these Ladder deck rankings?

These rankings come from recently observed Clash Royale battles, collected through the official Clash Royale API. CrownStats gathers new battles several times a day and recalculates Ladder aggregates after each collection, so the figures are refreshed throughout the day rather than on a daily snapshot — they are not a live feed, and both relevant times are shown above so the exact age is visible. Two different things are being measured: the latest observed battle is when CrownStats last saw a real battle in this format — the gameplay the ranking actually describes, while the recalculation time is when these numbers were last recalculated from the collected battles. A recent recalculation does not by itself make a format current — only a recent battle does. These numbers were last recalculated 1h ago. The current window covers the last 14 days in UTC, including today while it is still filling.

How does CrownStats rank Ladder decks?

Identical decks are grouped, duplicate battles removed, and each deck's wins and losses counted within this format and window. Ordering uses a confidence-adjusted score (a Wilson lower bound) so sample size is part of the ranking rather than a footnote. You can re-order by raw win rate or by usage above — both keep the same sample floor.

How CrownStats calculates these rankings

A sampled dataset, not every battle

CrownStats builds its statistics from battles collected through the official Clash Royale API for the players it tracks. That is a large sample, not a census — these are tracked battles, and win rates describe the decks observed in them rather than every game played worldwide.

Deck-observable battles

Not every battle can show a deck. A River Race Duel is played across three separate decks, so it never presents one eight-card deck to attribute a result to. Rankings are built only from battles that can actually produce a deck, and that is the number quoted as the evidence behind them.

Sample floor and confidence

A deck enters a ranking only once it has been observed at least 30 times in the window. Above that it is labelled Low Sample, Moderate Sample or High Confidence at 30, 100 and 500 appearances, so a lucky run over a handful of battles is never presented as a proven result.

The Meta score

The default ordering is a confidence-adjusted score — a Wilson lower bound — rather than raw win rate. It asks how low a deck's true win rate could plausibly be given how often it has been seen, which is why a 70% deck on 40 battles does not outrank a 58% deck on 4,000.

Each format counted separately

A deck is only credited with the battles it played in this format. Nothing is carried across from another Battle Type, and no figure here is an average blended across modes — which is exactly why the rankings differ between them.

Windows and freshness

Figures cover the last 14 days in UTC, and the current day is included while it is still filling — so the newest day is a partial count that grows through the day. Aggregates are rebuilt automatically several times a day; the most recent rebuild time is shown alongside the rankings.
