What Rival Tracker does

Rival Tracker is a CrownLab tool by CrownStats that lists the opponents a Clash Royale player has met in their recent battles, counts repeat encounters, and shows the head-to-head record with each.

Rival Tracker looks through the recent battle log for a linked player and groups battles by opponent. Anyone met more than once is a repeat rival, with wins, losses, crowns and — only where the same deck style genuinely repeats — the archetype they tend to bring.

Everything here is a plain count over the battles currently available from the Clash Royale API. CrownStats does not keep a long-term record of who you play for this tool, does not predict future opponents, and has no influence over matchmaking.

What Rival Tracker analyses

  • Every 1v1 opponent in the recent battle log, with the number of encounters
  • Wins, losses and draws against each opponent, plus crowns for and against
  • The result and time of the most recent encounter, and any current streak against that opponent
  • The opponent's most common archetype — only when at least two encounters had a classifiable deck and one archetype genuinely repeats

How CrownStats counts rivals

  • An opponent met 2 or more times in the analysed sample is a repeat rival, 3 or more a familiar rival, and 5 or more a frequent rival.
  • A repeat rival against whom the win rate is at or below 50% is flagged as a tough rival; a record above 50% is flagged as a strong record.
  • Only genuine 1v1 battles with an identifiable opponent tag are counted. Team battles and battles without a tag are excluded, and the exclusions are shown.
  • An opponent's archetype is named only when at least two encounters had a classifiable eight-card deck and one archetype repeats — a single battle never becomes a rival's "main deck".
  • Up to 3 insights summarise the most encountered, the toughest and the best-record repeat rivals.

Key terms

Encounter
One analysed 1v1 battle against a specific opponent, identified by their player tag.
Repeat, familiar and frequent rival
Frequency labels for an opponent met 2+, 3+ and 5+ times respectively within the recent battle log.
Head-to-head
Your wins, losses and draws — and crowns for and against — across every encounter with one opponent in the sample.
Main archetype
The archetype a rival brought most often, shown only when it genuinely repeats across at least two classifiable encounters.

What Rival Tracker cannot see

  • The sample is the recent battle log only. Reaching frequent-rival status within one recent log is rare, and a rival seen last week may no longer appear once older battles roll off.
  • No permanent rivalry history is stored by CrownStats for this tool, so nothing here describes a season or a career.
  • Nothing here predicts or influences future matchmaking.
  • A rival's archetype is named only when it genuinely repeats; a single battle is never turned into a claim about their main deck.

Sample size and evidence

Every count shows the number of battles it came from, and the coverage line states how many battles were analysed and how many were excluded.

Where the data comes from

CrownLab reads a player's profile, current deck, card levels and recent battle log through the Official Clash Royale API. It combines them with CrownStats' own card-stat dataset (per-level damage, hitpoints and related values, kept current with balance corrections) and, where a tool uses it, CrownStats' aggregated deck statistics from the battles it has collected. Nothing is estimated from a source CrownStats does not have.

Every personal CrownLab result is computed on demand from the recent battles the Clash Royale API currently returns for that player — a recent sample, not a stored career history — so a result can change as new battles are played and older ones leave the log.

CrownLab recommendations, Crown Score and Upgrade Advisor's rankings are CrownStats' own formulas. They are not official Supercell ratings or recommendations, and they are not a measure of a player's raw skill.

The personal CrownLab tools run on the Clash Royale player tag linked to a signed-in CrownStats account. Interaction Lab needs no account and no tag.

CrownStats is an independent project, built and maintained by one developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Supercell. Clash Royale is a trademark of Supercell.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do I keep facing in Clash Royale?

Rival Tracker groups your recent 1v1 battles by opponent and lists anyone you have met 2 or more times, with your record against them. It works only on the battles the Clash Royale API currently returns for your account, so it answers "who have I met recently" rather than "who have I met this season".

Which players have I played multiple times?

Every opponent with two or more encounters in your recent battle log is listed as a repeat rival, with wins, losses, crowns and the most recent result. Opponents met 3 or more times are familiar rivals and 5 or more frequent rivals.

Does CrownStats track my rivals over time?

No. Rival Tracker counts the battles currently in your recent log each time you run it and stores no permanent rivalry history. A rival can disappear from the list simply because the battles you played them in have rolled off the log.

Can Rival Tracker predict who I'll face next?

No. It describes past encounters in your recent battles. It neither predicts nor influences matchmaking, and it makes no claim about why you met a particular opponent.

Why is an opponent I remember missing?

Three reasons are common: the battle was a 2v2 or another team format, which is excluded; the opponent's tag was not present in the battle record; or the battle has already rolled off the recent log the Clash Royale API returns.
